Story

In the age when the world was young and the gods still walked among mortals, there existed a blade forged from the essence of fading stars and the tears of fallen kingdoms. This sword, known as Black Erosion, was said to carry within it the memory of all that had been lost to time.

It was crafted by a smith who had witnessed the decay of civilizations, who understood that all things must eventually return to dust. Yet in this understanding, he sought to create something that would endure - not by resisting erosion, but by embracing it.

The blade was quenched in waters drawn from the deepest abyss, where light had never reached. It was tempered with the breath of dying stars and polished with sands from forgotten deserts. Each strike of the hammer echoed with the sound of collapsing empires, each fold of the metal contained the pattern of decaying matter.

Those who wielded Black Erosion found that it did not cut through obstacles, but rather accelerated their natural decay. A fortress wall would crumble to dust before the blade even touched it, and armor would rust away at its mere presence. Yet the sword itself showed no signs of wear, for it had been born of erosion and was thus immune to its effects.

Legends say that the blade still exists, waiting in some forgotten tomb or sunken city for a wielder who understands that true power lies not in resisting change, but in flowing with the inevitable currents of time and decay.
